AI software developer Viz.ai has signed an agreement with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to commercialize three cardiac AI algorithms.
The three algorithms are for the automated detection of cardiovascular diseases and were developed by UCSF researchers. The algorithms are designed to detect cardiac amyloidosis, pulmonary hypertension, and supraventricular tachycardia and are based on analysis of electrocardiograms, the most widely used diagnostic test for characterization of cardiac structure and electrical activity of the heart, Viz.ai said.
