The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared Arineta Cardio Imaging's deep-learning image reconstruction technology for use in its SpotLight family of cardiovascular CT scanners.
The technology uses a convolutional neural network trained on more than three billion image data points, Arineta said. The company's SpotLight family of systems includes SpotLight for cardiovascular CT and SpotLight Duo for cardio-thoracic CT.
