Eizo will bring several monochrome and color LCDs to the RSNA show floor this year.
Eizo will be highlighting its RadiForce GS510 and GS510-G 5-megapixel monochrome LCD displays, designed to handle imaging applications including digital mammography, CR, and DR. GS510-G offers a glare panel, while GS510 includes an antiglare panel, according to the Cypress, CA-based firm.
The glare panels offer modulation transfer function (MTF) capabilities, which incorporate resolution and contrast data of a monitor's panel into a single specification, Eizo said. The displays also include Eizo's Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) backlight luminance uniformity technology.
In other grayscale developments, Eizo will be debuting its GS320 (standard model) and GX320 (high-end model). The 3-megapixel displays are suitable for PACS, CR, CT, MRI, and angiography applications, according to Eizo.
They include a 13-bit lookup table that produces a pallet of 8,161 grayscale tones, from which 1,024 tones can be displayed simultaneously, Eizo said. Both displays include DUE, while GX320 features a built-in swing sensor and LCD panel protector.
Eizo will also be debuting its GS220 (standard model) and GX220 (high-end model) 2-megapixel displays. The displays, also suitable for PACS, CR, CT, MRI, and angiography applications, offer a 13-bit lookup table (of which the pallet of 8,161 grayscale tones can display 1,024 tones simultaneously).
As with GS320 and GX320, both models carry DUE, while GX220 includes a built-in swing sensor and LCD panel protector.
New color displays for Eizo include its RadiForce RS410 4-megapixel LCD, which is suitable for displaying color and grayscale gradations for MRI, CT, PET, CR images, and 3D rendering, Eizo said.
With dual-link input support, RS410 has achieved a clock frequency of 60 Hz when displaying 2560 x 1600 resolution, Eizo said. RS410 also includes Eizo's DUE function.
RadiForce RX210 is a 2-megapixel color LCD designed to provide display of color and grayscale images for 3D color rendering and image fusion, according to the firm. It includes DUE and CAL Switch, which allows for various calibration modes to be selected from the front panel buttons for any specific image, Eizo said.
Eizo will also show the FlexScan S2411W-M, a color display that can serve as an HIS terminal.
