National Display Systems

National Display Systems (NDS) will showcase several displays in its booth, including a new color display for multimodality applications, as well as monochrome offerings.

PrimeVue 30 is a color display that can be driven by any commercial high-performance, DVI dual-link commercial graphics card, according to the Morgan Hill, CA-based firm. It's suitable for CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine applications, and can accommodate cardiology, CAD, 2D, 3D, and fusion imaging studies, NDS said.

Another color display, PrimeVue 21 is a 3-megapixel system that can be driven by any commercial DVI dual-link graphics card using 24-bit color data transfer, according to the firm. Compliant with DirectX and OpenGL, the system can handle CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine applications, and is designed to support radiology, cardiology, computer-aided detection (CAD), 2D, 3D, and fusion imaging, NDS said.

PrimeVue 19 displays both color and grayscale images, and offers 1280 x 1024 resolution.

In monochrome developments, NDS will also feature its Axis III (1536 x 2048 resolution) and V (2048 x 2560 resolution) displays. The display features an internal SmartController that contains a palette of 3,061 gray levels, and seven programmed display viewing protocols. Axis III is targeted at MRI, CT, CR, and DR image viewing applications, while Axis V is suitable for cross-sectional images, high-spatial-content modalities, and mammography, according to NDS.

Also on display: Axis I and II. The displays accept any commercial DVI-D graphic card using 3 x 8-bit color data transfer, and include multiple analog inputs for legacy applications, NDS said.
