(Booth 5548) WIDE will debut new versions of its Power grayscale and color display systems in Chicago.
The new Power family features the third generation of WIDE's ImageProcessor IC digital processing technologies, which provide processing of full 12-bit pipeline data, according to the Tustin, CA-based vendor. The produce line also includes display uniformity control and ambient compensation technology for DICOM calibration, WIDE said.
The new versions will also offer an automatic retractable image quality sensor (IQsensor) tool, and a set of digital processing technologies for DICOM calibration.
The monitors are expected to begin mass production in the fourth quarter of 2007, and will be available in 2-, 3-, and 5-megapixel grayscale, as well as 2- and 3-megapixel high-brightness color models, WIDE said. In addition, the Power systems can be equipped with an optional protective front glass cover to protect the LCD screen, WIDE said.
