E-business network provider Radguard has announced a new partnership agreement with MediLinks.net, an ISP and medical information technology provider based in Minneapolis. The deal will enable Radguard to offer its virtual private network (VPN) communications technology to MediLinks.net's customers, according to Bedford, MA-based Radguard.
MediLinks.net believes the communications security provided by Radguard's VPN technology will enhance compliance with the strict data privacy rules mandated in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
