Vital Images of Minneapolis has received 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for VScore with AutoGate, a software system for coronary artery calcium scoring.
Vscore with AutoGate determines the phase of the heart motion cycle at which each helical CT slice is recorded and then automatically selects the images that are least affected by cardiac motion. The product allows users to create high-quality images without EKG recording devices.
