Digital cardiac imaging systems firm Electromed has signed an agreement to acquire cardiology information management firm ComView. Laval, Quebec-based Electromed claims that the purchase will make it the second largest company in the digital cardiac imaging systems market.
San Francisco-based ComView's products are installed in nearly 40 cardiology centers in the U.S., according to Electromed. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Electromed expects the deal will close on or about June 20, depending on regulatory approval and other formalities.
