Healthcare practice management software vendor VitalWorks saw its revenue rise 8% to $27.1 million in the third quarter, compared to $25.1 million for the same quarter a year earlier. The increase was due to strong growth in software license and system sales, VitalWorks said.
The Ridgefield,CT-based company also cut its loss in the quarter, reporting a net loss of $1.7 million for the period ended September 30, 2001, compared to a net loss of $4.9 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2001, and compared to a net loss of $26.1 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000.
