Agfa releases Impax for Orthopedics

PACS vendor Agfa HealthCare has released Impax for Orthopedics at the annual meeting of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, being held this week in Dallas.

A PACS offering designed for orthopedic surgeons, Impax for Orthopedics includes the OT3000 specialty display station, ADC computed radiography readers, and the TalkStation speech recognition system. The package also contains software and hardware to manage orthopedic images and information, such as the vendor's Web1000 software for intranet distribution of images and presurgical plans, according to Ridgefield Park, NJ-based Agfa.
