Siemens to outfit Hamot Medical Center

Siemens Medical Solutions has signed a 10-year agreement to supply Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA, with its Soarian information system. In addition, Siemens will supply two Somatom Volume Zoom multislice CT scanners, one Somatom Emotion dual-slice CT scanner, a 1.5-tesla Magnetom Symphony MR system, and one Axiom Artis FC EP lab system. All Siemens modalities will come with the vendor's syngo medical imaging software, according to the Iselin, NJ-based vendor.
