Cedara sells SNS assets

Cedara Software has sold the principal assets of its wholly owned Surgical Navigation Specialists subsidiary to an undisclosed third party for $1.7 million (U.S.). The proceeds will be distributed to SNS creditors, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based vendor

As the largest creditor of SNS, Cedara said it expects its share to be approximately $1.6 million. With the sale of SNS assets, Cedara said it could now further build its core OEM business, including in the therapy market.
