Siemens Medical Solutions has completed installation of the first module of its Soarian healthcare information system at two beta sites.
Carilion Health System in Roanoke, VA, and The Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA, have launched Soarian Clinical Access, a clinical repository that allows clinicians browser-based access to the complete patient record, according to the Iselin, NJ-based vendor. Users can access the record, including images and data, from any workstation within a healthcare enterprise, home or office computer, or medical imaging devices, Siemens said.
