Scheduling software provider ScheduleQuest of Kissimmee, FL, and technology partner Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) have released ScheduleQuest Connect, a Web-based patient-scheduling application. ScheduleQuest Connect allows for HIPAA-compliant access to centralized scheduling data and facilitates management of patient scheduling, as well as the management of equipment and resources among hospitals, outpatient facilities, and physicians' offices, according to the companies.
ScheduleQuest developed the software through a partnership with IMO, a Chicago-based clinical IT developer. As a result of the partnership, Intelligent Medical Objects has become a strategic equity partner in ScheduleQuest, and ScheduleQuest's primary software development contractor.
IMO is furnishing ScheduleQuest with services and advanced technology through a multiyear strategic development contract and a software licensing agreement. Also, the firms have inked several reciprocal marketing agreements, allowing IMO to market the scheduling system and ScheduleQuest to market IMO's Adaptive Data Manager development infrastructure.
