First Consulting Group (FCG) has signed a letter of intent with the Long Beach Network for Health (LBNH) to deploy its FirstGateways platform as the foundation for creating a healthcare information technology (HIT) regional healthcare network in Southern California.
The first phase of the project is expected to provide the foundation for building electronic health records (EHRs) among providers and patients at several hospitals and physician groups in the market, according to Long Beach, CA-based FCG.
