MedAppz unveils Web-based EMR

Healthcare information technology developer MedAppz of Boca Raton, FL, has debuted its MedAppz iSuite, a Web-based ambulatory electronic medical record (EMR) application.

MedAppz iSuite takes a series of products sold as separate brands for more than nine years and unites them as one Web-based integrated service. The products are currently used in more than 200 clinics throughout the U.S., the company said.

MedAppz customers pay a monthly fee based on the number of doctors per clinic and the modules they select, according to the firm. Because the application is delivered as a service, physicians avoid having to invest in hardware, software, and IT staff, MedAppz said.
