Aspyra

Radiology informatics developer Aspyra of Calabasas, CA, is bringing its CyberRad RIS and AccessRad RIS/PACS to the 2006 RSNA conference in Chicago.

CyberRad RIS features include multisite capabilities, decision-support rule definitions, electronic report signature, HIPAA patient tracking and audit trails, patient scheduling with resource and room variables, exam sequencing, color-coded worklists, medical alerts and protocol checks, medical necessity validation with advance beneficiary notification (ABN) generation, multilevel multifunction security, automated results delivery (autofaxing optional), and film library management and tracking.

The firm will also be showing its AccessRad RIS/PACS, which features a single-desktop environment and single sign-on capabilities. The system, targeted for mid-size hospitals and multispecialty clinics, is available now in the U.S., the U.K., and Europe, Aspyra said.

In addition, Aspyra noted that it will participate in this year's Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) demonstration for cross-enterprise document sharing for imaging (XDS-I) and teaching file and clinical trial export (TCE) integration profiles.
