Avreo of New Orleans will premiere its integrated radiology workflow application, InterWorks 2007, at the RSNA conference.
The InterWorks 2007 RIS incorporates master patient indexing for multiple patient IDs, allowing a simultaneously consolidated worklist across multiple DICOM archives, which the firm calls InterWorks Enterprise. Also new is an InterWorks InterFlow scheduling tool that allows multiple studies across multiple facilities to be scheduled from a desktop.
The firm is also showcasing its hosted reporting and report delivery offering, InterWork Dayhawk, which allows users to view, dictate, electronically sign, and deliver final reports from a remote location with minimal resources.
Avreo will demonstrate additional features of InterWorks 2007 at the conference, including InterAct , a master patient folder tool; InterFlow, a radiology workflow and analysis module supporting online documentation, scheduling, and reporting analysis; InterScribe, a dictation and transcription module supporting digital dictation, voice recognition, and template reporting; and InterView, a PACS module for image display and manipulation.
InterWorks 2007 operates on the Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, and is targeted toward the community hospital, multispecialty physician practice, and freestanding imaging center market, the company said.
