Brit Systems

Image information technology developer Brit Systems of Dallas has added new features to its Roentgen RIS, which will be on display at this year's RSNA conference.

Brit will showcase Roentgen RIS' new reporting features, which include streamlining its reporting templates to enable "three-click" normal diagnosis reports, according to the company. In addition, the firm will introduce a new structured reporting tool for radiology.

The vendor has also added a new administrative messaging application, the Discordance Tool, which it said has been expanded beyond the emergency room to include other medical specialties. The tool provides a means of communicating with other clinicians to report findings to the radiologist. The Discordance Tool allows the radiologist to mark and communicate any discordance back to the referring clinician. The application also provides statistics on the frequency and types of studies involved to enhance patient care, according to Brit.

The latest iteration of Roentgen RIS is available now in the U.S..
