Healthcare software developer Catalis of Austin, TX, will demonstrate its Accelerator electronic healthcare record (EHR) system, created for primary use on a wireless tablet-based PC.
The firm, which calls its EHR application a graphical health record, said that Accelerator is currently being used and installed throughout the U.S. in medical clinics, academic health centers, and independent physician organizations. The company will showcase Accelerator's capabilities to connect to various imaging modalities, such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, and PET, via a DICOM-to-JPEG interface.
Catalis offers clinic specialty modules for Accelerator, including family practice, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, orthopedic spine, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, and podiatry. The vendor said it has patient management interfaces for AdvancedMD, Centricity, MARS, Medical Manager, Medisoft, IDX, and MicroMD applications.
The Accelerator is currently available worldwide.
