Healthcare informatics developer Eclipsys will demonstrate its clinical RIS/PACS offering, Eclipsys Diagnostic Imaging Solutions, and its RIS product, Sunrise Radiology, in the technical exhibits of the 2006 RSNA show.
Eclipsys Diagnostic Imaging Solutions features the firm's Sunrise Radiology and Sunrise PACS products. The integrated application features a RIS backbone and PACS developed by Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra. It also provides real-time speech recognition and mammography reporting and tracking.
Sunrise Radiology supports a completely paperless workflow, including annotation tools, image capture, notifications and alerts, and document generation, according to Eclipsys. The product is capable of integrating with other practice management systems such as enterprise order entry and scheduling systems. The application is completely Web-based and was written in Sun Microsystems' Java2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), which simplifies system deployment, the Boca Raton, FL-based company said.
