Insight Healthcare Information Systems will display its OmniCare Women's and Breast Center Manager software, as well as the latest iteration of its OmniRAD RIS.
The OmniCare Women's and Breast Center Manager was developed for the women's imaging and breast center marketplace. It has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and meets Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) requirements. It features the American College of Radiology's BI-RADS terminology and is HIPAA-compliant, according to the Encino, CA-based developer.
The software is modular and scalable so that a facility can invest in only the tools it presently needs while retaining the capability to add further features as the practice grows, such as bone densitometry and ob/gyn modules, the company said.
OmniCare Women's and Breast Center Manager is currently available for worldwide distribution.
The latest iteration of the OmniRAD RIS will also be demonstrated with enhancements such as an improved workflow in support of paperless practices, radiologist and technologist worklists, voice recognition reporting, bar code capabilities and file-room management, document management and scanning, and integration capabilities with PACS and other medical informatics systems.
