At RSNA 2006, InStar Systems will demonstrate its InStar RIS with new features and enhancements.
InStar RIS incorporates several enhanced capabilities, including drag-and-drop patient scheduling, registration, order entry, pending appointments tracking, outside read tracking, preauthorization, exam tracking, mammography tracking, charge capture, billing, film tracking, transcription/report production, electronic signature, embedded dictation and voice recognition capabilities, report distribution, and management reporting, according to the Colorado Springs, CO-based developer.
The product is built on Microsoft's .Net and SQL platforms, and is currently available worldwide, InStar said.
