Mantis Technology will discuss its MantisIQ RIS, PACS IQ, Echo on the Go cardiology image and information system, and IQ Universe informatics integration applications.
The New York City-based developer said that its MantisIQ RIS includes Digital Medical Records (DMR) and Clinical Messaging Service (CMS), which allows referring physicians to view images, reports, schedules, and view/print clinical preps and location maps over the Internet.
The company will also introduce its PACS IQ product that allows digital images to be displayed on a network, or read from an optical disk, CD-ROM, or DVD with no study size or clip length restrictions. Stored images can be accessed at other workstations on the network, through a Web browser to any PC having Web access, or sent to remote sites via DICOM push, FTP, or e-mail, Mantis said.
Image review tools include a study preview screen, and dual- and quad-screen loops can view images from different views, studies, and modalities. Users can adjust the speed of cine playback, take measurements, step through the clip frame-by-frame, and control brightness, contrast, and zoom on images. Archive capabilities include jukeboxes, RAID 5 file servers, high-capacity tape, and Veritas backup software.
Echo on the Go, Mantis' cardiac report and image management product, offers digital imaging and structured reporting technologies to outpatient cardiology practices, the company said.
IQ Universe is an integration application that allows a hospital or outpatient radiology facility to integrate all modalities, RIS, dictation and voice recognition systems, document imaging applications, and PACS into a unified paperless workflow.
The MantisIQ RIS and PACS IQ are Web-based applications developed using Microsoft.Net and SQL Server 2000 technologies. Security is provided by a MantisIQ security service that was developed using Microsoft's ASP.Net Web services and .Net cryptographic services. It uses secure sockets layer (SSL) digital certificates to provide authentication, data integrity, and privacy for HIPAA-compliant medical transactions.
The products are available now in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Thailand, Taiwan, China, and Japan.
