Philips Medical Systems is showcasing its EasyRIS radiology informatics application.
The system boasts HL7 and DICOM support to interface with hospital information systems (HIS), PACS, modalities, and third-party speech recognition applications. EasyRIS integrates with PACS at the desktop via HL7 CCOW (Clinical Context Object Workgroup) interfaces, according to the Andover, MA-based company. In addition, the product supports various coding standards for diagnosis, procedure codes, and tariff numbers, the company said.
EasyRIS also features audit trail functionality, digital signature for medical reports, protocol scheduling, a simplified user interface, and a fee-per-examination per-year pricing model, the vendor said. The software is currently available only outside the U.S.
