Optio gets rural Georgia EHR contract

Healthcare informatics application developer Optio Software will be providing its subscription-based electronic health record (EHR) product, QuickRecord, to Smith Northview Hospital, a 31-bed facility in rural Georgia.

The Alpharetta, GA-based Optio said the system will give physicians at the institution access to lab results. In addition, the EHR will provide unified access to a number of clinical systems including lab, radiology, document imaging, PACS, and transcription, according to Optio.
