Allscripts gets MeNetwoRx contract

Healthcare information technology developer Allscripts reported that MedNetwoRx will deploy its TouchWorks electronic health record (EHR) and practice management applications to automate and connect clinical and administrative processes for 115 physicians in MedXpress retail medical clinics.

MedNetwoRx is an application service provider (ASP)-based firm that hosts and supports clinical and practice management software for more than 1,000 physicians in Texas. It will initially provide 45 physicians with the TouchWorks EHR and another 70 physicians with the TouchWorks practice management system, according to Chicago-based Allscripts.
