Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys of Boca Raton, FL, has named Dr. Bob Elson as its new chief medical officer.
Elson was the founder of Clinical Systems Design, a healthcare information technology consultancy. He served this past year as the senior researcher in clinical informatics at the MetroHealth Center for Health Care Research and Policy in Cleveland.
Former Eclipsys CMO Dr. Diane Gilbert Bradley now serves as the company's chief quality and outcomes officer, focusing on helping customers track and improve care quality using Eclipsys technology.
