Malvern, PA-based Siemens Medical Solutions and Partners HealthCare are exploring a new collaboration to further develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) within the Siemens Soarian SOA platform.
SOA is designed to deliver the capability to individually extend, reuse, and access services -- software components that implement a business task or process -- throughout a healthcare organization.
Partners HealthCare is a Boston-based integrated health system founded by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.
