Additional sales from its electrocardiogram product line helped Los Angeles-based medical informatics firm CompuMed post higher revenues in its second fiscal quarter.
For the period (end-March 31), revenues increased to $574,000, up 5% compared with $545,000 in the second quarter of fiscal 2006. The company's net loss, however, also increased to $107,000, compared with a net loss of $101,000 in the same quarter a year ago.
For the first six months of fiscal 2007, revenues slipped 7% to $1.1 million, compared with $1.2 million for the same period in fiscal 2006. The company's net loss increased to $327,000, compared with a net loss of $142,000 in the same period a year ago.
