HLTH's ViPS subsidiary will collaborate with Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) on a pilot project for MHQP to evaluate physician performance based on specified quality measures.
The criteria will include commercial, Medicare, and potential Medicaid claims data, which will be analyzed using the Elmwood Park, NJ-based company's proprietary performance measurement software.
The multiphase project is expected to conclude next year, and is part of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Better Quality Information to Improve Care for Medicare Beneficiaries (BQI) program.
