Healthcare IT software developer Sage Software Healthcare of Tampa, FL, has added support for the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), set to go into effect in July.
The pay-for-performance (P4P) initiative is designed to help physicians enhance quality of care and offer bonuses based on quality results and accurate tracking and reporting of patient data.
Sage Software offers electronic health record technology and documentation to enable physicians to receive CMS' 1.5% reimbursement bonus.
