NovaRad releases new NovaRIS

RIS and PACS developer NovaRad has released version 6.2 of its NovaRIS software.

The new version allows for the ability to filter workflow by modality as well as launch dictation from workflow, according to the American Fork, UT-based vendor. It also contains specialized worklists and reports for stalled and cancelled procedures, NovaRad said.

Other features include autodistribution of reports through e-mail, phone, or fax with receipt verification; customizable menus; electronic signature for radiologists; audit trail capability; integration with NovaPACS or other third-party PACS or HIS; and a workflow tracker, NovaRad said.
