Speech recognition firm MedQuist of Mount Laurel, NJ, has inked an agreement with Catholic Healthcare West (CHW) to supply CHW with remote medical records coding services and MedQuist's CodeRunner application service provider technology.
The agreement will allow CHW to share coding resources among its multiple facilities. CodeRunner also allows coders to work at home and allows users to incorporate third-party coding providers for coding services.
CHW already uses MedQuist's SpeechQ for Radiology speech recognition system, according to the company.
