Healthcare IT firm QuadraMed of Reston, VA, has signed a definitive agreement to buy the computerized patient record (CPR) assets of Misys Healthcare Systems for $33 million in cash.
The acquisition will position QuadraMed to support the clinical information needs of large hospitals and healthcare delivery systems, according to QuadraMed CEO Keigh Hagen. The deal is expected to close within 60 days.
