Speech recognition and document management firm Nuance Communications said that 1,000 customers are now using its Dictaphone PowerScribe speech recognition software.
Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT, was the milestone customer, and will use PowerScribe to manage more than 365,000 radiology reports each year, according to the Burlington, MA-based vendor.
