Rochester, NY-based eHealth Global Technologies has signed a deal with Portable Information Management Systems (PIMS), maker of the MedicKey digital information chip, to provide eHealth's Global eRetriever service to customers who purchase a MedicKey.
eRetriever allows eHealth Global to help MedicKey customers retrieve their medical records; then eHealth Global can fill in their personal data on the MedicKey device, including scanned-in documents and medical images. Customers can obtain all of their relevant historical medical information and to make it accessible to their care providers on MedicKey's password-protected USB-based device.
