MedQuist provides speech recognition to Mississippi group

Mount Laurel, NJ-based speech recognition firm MedQuist has brokered an agreement to provide its SpeechQ for Radiology front-end automated speech recognition (ASR) product to Radiological Group PA of Jackson, MS.

Radiological Group PA includes 12 radiologists who serve two imaging centers that they own, one imaging center owned by another medical group, and Baptist Medical Center, a 611-bed hospital in Jackson. The group also plans to use SpeechQ's built-in macros and structured report templates.
