An increase in ECG transmission revenues and order volume for its OsteoGram diagnostic system helped medical informatics firm CompuMed increase revenues in the third quarter of fiscal 2007 (end-June 30).
Revenues advanced to $590,000, up 23% from $478,000 in the third quarter of fiscal 2006. The Los Angeles-based company's net loss increased to $176,000, compared with a net loss of $130,000 in the year-ago quarter.
In the quarter, ECG services revenues climbed to $491,000, up from $404,000 in the same quarter last year. OsteoGram revenues increased to $81,000, compared with $20,000 in the year-ago quarter.
For the nine-month period, revenues grew to $1.7 million, compared with $1.67 million in the same period of fiscal year 2006. The net loss increased to $552,000, compared with a net loss of $299,000 in the prior-year period.
