Healthcare information technology developer MEDecision of Wayne, PA, has accepted the resignation of president and COO John H. Capobianco.
MEDecision Founder and CEO David St.Clair will fill Capobianco’s role until a successor is found, and the search for a replacement is underway. The company gave no reason for Capobianco's departure.
The announcement comes in the wake of lower revenues and a net loss in MEDecision's second quarter (end-June 30). Revenues decreased to $9.7 million, compared with $12.7 million in the second quarter of 2006. The company reported a net loss of $2.5 million, compared with net income of $100,000 in the year-ago quarter.
