Vienna-based Philips Speech Recognition Systems has completed installation of its SpeechMagic technology for 60 radiologists at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) in the United Kingdom.
SpeechMagic is integrated with the hospital’s legacy RIS to give doctors access to patient history from a dictation screen to compare results against previous findings.
Users also scan the barcode from the patient record into the RIS to automatically access corresponding patient data and add it to the report.
