Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, CA, has licensed the Cedara MergeCOM-3 DICOM Toolkit from Cedara Software of Mississauga, Ontario.
Varian plans to use the DICOM-compliant technology with medical imaging applications to enhance the implementation of DICOM interfaces.
Cedara Software is owned by healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee.
