Healthcare software developer Commissure of New York City has completed an installation of its RadPort software at a Minnesota health system.
Commissure made the installation at Park Nicollet Health Services in St. Louis Park, which includes Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital, Park Nicollet Clinic, Park Nicollet Foundation, and Park Nicollet Institute.
RadPort is designed to save time during the ordering of radiology studies by satisfying insurer precertification requirements. It also educates clinicians about appropriate diagnostic imaging procedures, circumventing the "call center" approach that requires referring physicians to obtain preauthorization before ordering imaging studies.
