Misys Healthcare Systems of Raleigh, NC, has introduced an electronic medical record (EMR) package for small medical practices and solo practitioners, the company said. The package is the first in a family of Misys MyWay products to be introduced in coming months, according to Misys.
Misys MyWay is offered as a hosted software package. It features offline synchronization, which allows users to work anywhere at any time; adaptive learning, in which the application learns and adapts to each user's patterns and preferences; intelligent navigation, which displays relevant clinical content based on patient symptoms; template-free charting, which gives users the ability to handle multiple patients; and customization, which allows users to change screens and content to match their preferences.
