(Booth 1806) Insight Healthcare Information Systems of Encino, CA, will display the latest release of its OmniCare RIS version 7.2 software.
The technology includes new features, reports, and technological enhancements for radiology departments, imaging centers, women's centers, or disease management organizations. Besides patient scheduling, electronic medical records (EMRs), workflow, transcription, radiologist reporting, file room, and mammography/MQSA, the new modules include document scanning, voice recognition, bone densitometry, and case management.
All reports, letters, and forms have been upgraded and can be exported to Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word, as well as Adobe PDFs, in addition to other formats for faxing, e-mailing, or other uses. OmniCare V7.2 also is Windows Vista-compatible. A new SQL database engine has been integrated and is provided free of charge with the upgrade.
OmniCare version 7.2 also can integrate with other HIS, RIS, PACS, billing systems, and modalities. The new interface engine is called OmniGate.
