(Booth 3204) Integrated Modular Systems (IMSI) of Havertown, PA, will show its new imsiArchive at the 2007 RSNA conference.
imsiArchive features controlled multifacility access to simplify retrieval and distribution of stored patient information, as well as complete disaster recovery, emergency operations mode, and continuity of business functions.
The software can interface in any current HL7 or DICOM environment, and can electronically search for archived patient information, with secure user access through the Internet on a standard PC. It also is HIPAA-compliant for secure protection, storage, and retrieval of all patient information.
The company is targeting imsiArchive for radiology groups, hospitals, and imaging centers. It currently is available in the U.S.
IMSI also will display its imsiRIS, which offers Web-based access to standard RIS functions.
Features include front-desk patient information management; worklists; a patient master database and patient history searches; generation of letters, faxes, and e-mail notes in PDF format; automatic fax and e-mail delivery; an optional voice recognition dictation component; remote transcription via HL7 interface for Internet access to HIS, RIS, and PMS; structured reporting; and automated charging and billing reports for professional services.
The software also has HIPAA-compliant Web pages for clients, providing access to patient histories, reports, and all charges. The company currently is marketing imsiRIS to hospitals, specialty modality centers, and orthopedic and cardiology practices.
In addition, the company's imsiView Workstation will be a highlight in Chicago. Key features include orthogonal and oblique multiplanar reconstructions (MPRs), maximum and minimum intensity projections (MIPs), thick-slab MIPs, surface-shaded display, and volume rendering.
imsiView Workstation also offers an intuitive DICOM image viewer for image processing, including data query, retrieval, and import from any DICOM 3.0-compatible modality, as well as all standard image processing functions, comparison of different studies, and measurements. Upgrades include cropping, filtering, enhanced navigation, and enhanced export.
The software has U.S. Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance and is available in the U.S. for hospitals, specialty modality centers, orthopedic and cardiology practices, and other healthcare providers.
