(Booth 2984) MedInformatix of Los Angeles is ready to come to RSNA 2007 with its MedInformatix RIS, version 6.2.
The RIS features workflow management capabilities, as well as RIS/PACS integration, DICOM modality interfacing, electronic document storage, digital dictation and transcription, and a mammography module.
Billing and collections features, custom reporting, a referring physicians' Web module, and a patient registration portal round out the upgraded RIS. It is scalable with an open architecture and single Microsoft SQL database.
MedInformatix currently is marketing the RIS to outpatient imaging centers that have a particular need for express report distribution and are moving toward a paperless environment.
