(Booth 4750) Sage Software Healthcare of Beaverton, OR, will display its Intergy RIS software in Chicago this year.
Integrity RIS users can perform procedure diagnosis validation when adding or editing a study. A new feature also allows users to specify whether procedure diagnoses will be validated for new or edited studies.
Studies can be canceled manually, whereas previously studies were automatically set to cancelled status only when a radiology-related appointment was canceled. The upgrade allows users to cancel a study that does not have a related appointment, if the study is no longer needed or was entered in error.
Additionally, if flow-tracking events exist for an encounter that is associated with a study, the events are deleted and the encounter is voided when the study is canceled.
Also featured in Intergy RIS are three new study statuses: arrived, exam completed, and dictated. In addition, the software's existing "started" status has changed to "exam started" to better clarify its meaning in the RIS appointment process. The additional statuses and status enhancements are designed for more precise study tracking.
