Siemens Medical Solutions has launched the latest version of its Invision health information system, which includes a number of platform, database, and application upgrades.
With Invision 27, customers will be able to migrate to a new Drug Allergy Module (DAM) from First DataBank (FDB), which provides additional allergen information designed to improve clinical checking, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. Allergy data can also be interfaced to systems such as Siemens Pharmacy and Soarian Clinicals, Siemens said.
