Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, has launched SpeechMike Air, a wireless version of its SpeechMike audio recording device.
SpeechMike Air features include wireless functionality, a dictation microphone and playback speaker, dictation control, and PC navigation.
The device includes software that is compatible with Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition software from Nuance Communications of Burlington, MA.
Nuance acquired Vienna-based Philips Speech Recognition Systems last year.
